Arrangements are by Whitehurst Loyd Funeral Service, Porterville. Mildred 'Mitzi' Nashold Retired legal secretary Mildred "Mitzi" Nashold, 82, of Visalia died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002. She was a resident ofTulare County for 45 years working as a legal secretary for the Tulare County public defender's office and the city of Porterville clerk's office. Mitzi was born on Jaa 30, 1920, in Illinois to John and Julia Kutlich. She moved to California during World War II to work as a secretary at Bethlehem Steel Corporation, which constructed ships for the war effort After the war, she married Kenyon W. Nashold, who died in 1988, and together they raised four children in Tulare County. She is survived by her children: Pamela Faller, her husband, Carl, of Visalia and granddaughter Lee; Debra Lizee, her husband, Tom, of Trabuco Ganyonand their children Trevor, Kevin, Kelsey and Eric; Fred Nashold and his wife, Jenny, of San Jose and their child Bo; and Beverly Nashold of Houstoa She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews including Clarice Hefflefinger of Tulare, Brenda Nicolopulos ofWisconsin and Lois Lindstrom of Rockford, DL; and by her best friend and sister-in-law, Clarine Joy Greenwalt of Maryland She will be remembered for her positive attitude and willingness to help others. There will be no public services. Remembrances may be made to Court Appointed Special Advocates of Tulare County, 500 N. Willis St., Visalia, CA 93294.
