Mom enjoyed the simplicities of life, such as taking Sunday drives to the coast with my Dad, people watching, bargain shopping, and being involved with the lives of her family. She often helped friends and family with anything she could, including a place to stay, a hot meal, and words of wisdom.

She would sacrifice everything she had to help someone in need, even if it meant her going without. Mom had a passion for children, which showed through her 20 years of teaching Sunday School. She was an amazing woman who loved not only her own children, but many nieces, nephews, and friends who also respected and honored her as their second mom. She fought a long, hard battle, but is now sitting in the arms of God without pain or suffering. We will always remember her as a blessing to our lives and she will truly be missed.

Mom and Dad were together through thick and thin in this life, and are now reunited in heaven to spend eternity together. Be good, Mom! We love you!
