pected of check forgery ri day police said Monday Diana Ramirez could also face additional charges of providing a false name to of ficers police said Police said a woman at tempted to pay for merchan dise at Quicksilver but the clerk was suspicious that the check was forged The clerk kept the check while the would be customer left the store The clerk then called Big Dog store located next door to alert staff there about the forgery attempt However a purchase had already been made But shopping center security lo cated the woman and de tained her Police were called and offi cers determined the checks were forged and the woman was arrested While the woman was be ing booked she provided a false to name to officers po lice said Her identity was de termined through finger prints police said
