Erik Campos, 27, sustained injuries to his head and was kicked and punched, officials said. He did not request medical attention. The crime occurred outside the La Fiesta night club, 2435 South Street.

According to police, Campos had just left the club early Saturday and was warming up his 1990 Lincoln Town Car when two people approached him, pulled him from his vehicle and started beating him. Police said one of the assailants broke a beer bottle over Campos' head. Security personnel tried to intervene, police said, but the attackers left in Campos' car. Man stabbed during argument area in the vehicle. Staff reports A Tulare man was stabbed Sunday afternoon in the 600 block of South Blackstone Street. Vincent Juarez, 35, was treated and released from Tulare District Hospital, officials said.

According to police, Juarez was attending a party at the Blackstone residence when a man driving a Dodge Caravan drove up and started an argument.
