Erik Campos, 27, sustained injuries to his head and was kicked and punched, officials said. He did not request medical attention. The crime occurred outside the La Fiesta night club, 2435 South Street.

According to police, Campos had just left the club early Saturday and was warming up his 1990 Lincoln Town Car when two people approached him, pulled him from his vehicle and started beating him. Police said one of the assailants broke a beer bottle over Campos' head. Security personnel tried to intervene, police said, but the attackers left in Campos' car. Man stabbed during argument area in the vehicle. Annual picnic honors seniors The Area Agency Aging, in partnership with the city of Tulare and Tulare County Health and Human Services Agency, will host the 35th annual Senior Picnic in the Park from 8 a.m.

Staff reports A Tulare man was stabbed Sunday afternoon in the 600 block of South Blackstone Street. Vincent Juarez, 35, was treated and released from Tulare District Hospital, officials said.

According to police, Juarez was attending a party at the Blackstone residence when a man driving a Dodge Caravan drove up and started an argument. She is survived by her brother, Jack M. Putnam and wife, Helene, of Visalia; son-inlaw, Edgar Bailey; numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She Gordon married Ray Bryant in 1948 and a son was born in 1950, Lawrence Stephen Bryant. Jannell married Claude Donald Gordon in 1953. They had one child, a son, Robert Timothy Gordon, born in 1956. In 1994, she lost her beloved son, Stephen, and on Dec. 25, 2002, she lost her beloved husband, Claude D.

Jannell is survived by a son, Robert; a sister, Doris "Betty" Matthews; four granddaughters; two grandsons; her eight beloved great daughter-in-law, Marie Bryant; and her beloved in-laws, who were always there to give her love and support.
