Thursday, March Irene Najar on July 2, 1956, in Visalia. She Irene Arevalo Arevalo, 50, of Visalia died 8, 2007. Arevalo was born in Tulare and resided most of her life raised four children and had six grandchildren with one on the way. Irene worked at Red Lobster and Moe's to Go sandwich shop as a prepcook. Irene loved to dance and spent her spare time at the casino.

Irene lost her life battling cancer and will be truly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Stella Ornales; and nieces Emma Ornales and Christina Ortiz. Thursday at the chapel. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Porterville. James 'Tim' A. Lowe Forklift driver James "Jim" A. Lowe, 60, of Exeter died Saturday, March 10, 2006.

He was a forklift driver. Jim was born in Visalia on April 2, 1946. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Jim loved animals and was a huge NASCAR fan. He raced cars in his younger years.

He was very loyal to his friends and was a very James Lowe giving person. Jim loved his family very much and James Lowe will be truly missed by family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and James Lowe brother Bill Roland; and sister Geraldine Lewis. Aguilar of Exeter; sisters Julie Parker of Visalia and Sue West of Exeter; brothers John Lowe of Oklahoma and Phillip Lowe of Visalia; and 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Thursday at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel, Visalia.

Service will be 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel. Burial is private. Florence Mack Florence E. Mack passed away March 8, 2007, with her family at her side in Tulare.

She was born September 19, 1915, in Los Angeles. Her husband, Charles C. Mack, preceded her in death on Aug. 31, 1977. Although her family and children were the greatest joy in her life, she had many interests and participated in many activities with her children and grandchildren.

She was active in chauffeuring her children to all types of sports activities and events during their school years. She participated in St. Mathias P.T.A. in Huntington Park and was a Girl Scout leader in 1963. She belonged to the Toastmistress Club in Huntington Park and enjoyed doing ceramics in her spare time.

She did all this while assisting her husband in his wholesale candy business. She is survived by three daughters, Charlene Postlewaite and her husband, Bill, Kathleen Kerns and her husband, Larby ry, six and Virginia grandchildren, Breen. She Cheryl is also survived husband, Duane, Linda Nichols her husband, Michael, Kimberly Kyle and her husband, Todd, Kevin Bergman, Jackie Fisher and her husband, Michael, and Dawn Broker; three step grandchildren, Tammy Warner and her husband, Danny, and family, Michael Postlewaite, and Tanya lacono and her husband, Bryan, and family. In addition to all her grandchildren, she is survived by 11 great-grandchildren, Paul Sartuche and his wife, Brittany, Courtney Aldaco and his Jenny Allen, Cara Aldaco, Colton Soares, Mikela Quintero and her husband, Johnny, Hannah and Caelan Koehn, Michael Bergman, Ryan Fisher and Skyler and Alec Dias. While she is going to be sorely missed by all of her friends and family, she is in a far greater place due to her faith and love in Christ.

She led an exemplary life and was a model mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A memorial service will be held at 10a.m. Friday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 125 East Pleasant Ave. Internment will be at All Soul's Cemetery in Long Beach at a later date.

J. Robert Montgomery, attorney at law and beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, died March 11, 2007, at age 66. He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family. Born March 27, 1940, in St. Louis, the son of Dr.

John R. Montgomery and Mina Montgomery. In 1945, Bob's family moved to Delano, where Dr. Montgomery practiced family medicine for 52 years. Bob was a student of Delano High School and graduated in the class of 1957.

He then attended Stanford University and was granted a bachelor's ence degree in 1961. He political received his master's degree the University Pennsylvania in 1963. After deciding on a legal career, he achieved the Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1967. He spent two years prosecuting criminal cases as a deputy district attorney for Tulare County. In 1970, Bob returned to his hometown of Delano and began a general-law practice that lasted 37 years.

He emphasized criminal defense, trials, family law, and general civil law, and represented thousands of clients throughout his career. While attending Stanford University, Bob was confirmed as a member of the Episcopal Church. He was a member of the Church of the Redeemer and Hope in Delano for over 40 years, serving as a lay Eucharistic minister and senior warden. As part of his goal to help young people, he was very active as an attorney coach in the Kern County Mock Trial program, which helps high school students to learn the legal system by presenting trials each year. He coached teams from Delano High, Bakersfield Christian High and McFarland High.

In 1992, he received a commendation from Gov. Pete Wilson for exceptional contributions to the Mock Trial Program during the final 10 years of the program. Bob had a generous nature and was committed to helping those in need. He was also known for his quick wit and sense of humor. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Donna; his children, John R.

Montgomery III of Bakersfield, Karen Montgomery Wagner of Sanger and Stephen Burke Montgomery of Delano; his brother, Richard "Dickie" Montgomery of Santa Barbara and sister Ludmilla Montgomery Lamb; his son-in-law, Reginald Wagner; and his grandchildren, Avery, Gabriel and Levi Wagner ofSanger. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mina Montgomery, and his sister, Scotti Montgomery Crawford. Services will be held at the Church of Redeemer and Hope at 1725 11th Delano. Visitation will be from a.m., Friday, March 16, and a funeral service will be at 11 a.m. with a reception following in the parish hall.

Donald Quinn John Montgomery Jr. Nursing coordinator Donald Gerald Quinn, 72, of Porterville died Sunday, March 11, 2007. He was a nursing coordinator. Private services will be held at a later date. Interment to be private.

Arrangements are by Myers Chapel, Porterville. Beatrice Catherine Rye Oct. 14, 1910-March 11, 2007 Beatrice was born Oct. 14, 1910, in Alamo, N.D., to Oliver and Eliza Kirby. She was the third child in a family of 11, having three brothers and seven sisters.

Beatrice attended grammar school in a small country school near Alamo. She then spent her high school days in Ray, N.D., and went on to complete her education. On Nov. 14, 1930, she married Theodore (Ted) Rye and they had three children. Beverly was born on her mom's birthday, Oct.

14, 1932, Dorothy on May 9, 1938, and Roger on May 27, 1940. They continued to live and farm their 360 acres near Tioga, N.D., until 1948. They moved to Los Angeles but returned every year to Tioga, where they continued farming their land until 1960, at which time they rented it out. The family owns the land to this day. In 1967, Ted and Bea moved to Beaumont, where they resided until 2003.

At that time, Bea moved and lived with her daughter, Beverly, to Visalia, where she stayed until her death. 28, 1927, to Jerome in Philipsburg, N.J. In the love of her life, a handnamed Paul Tormohlen. married life together Oct. 1946. Their first home was in Tulare.

Eventually they moved to Visalia, where they lived throughout the rest of their married life. Their life together could never be described as dull. There was always some hair-raising adventure or near-disaster that would keep their years together zestfully exciting. Early in their marriage, Paul shared his deep faith in God with Louise. She embraced that faith with all her heart and was soon baptized.

Her deep faith in God evident in everything she did. The four children born to Louise and Paul were raised in love, learning from their mother's example about what it meant to be a child of God. Louise worked for a time at Peter Paul's Furniture Store, but she had an artistic flair and ultimately went to work in the art department at Josten's American Yearbook Company, where she worked until her retirement. Louise was preceded in death by both parents and her first-born child, Peggy. She is survived by her devoted husband, Paul; daughter, Paula (Gary) Wright of Visalia; son, John (Patsy) Tormohlen of Visalia; and daughter, Helen (Misha) Evans of Reno, Nevada.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Louise at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 17 at Grace Lutheran Church of Visalia. Remembrances may be made to Grace Lutheran Church in memory of Louise Tormohlen. Services W. Caldwell Ave.
